Looks like the new Ford Mustang is going to steal the thunder of everything else at this year’s SEMA show thanks to stuff like this, the Vortech Mustang Supercharged. The new pony car is already a tuner’s favorite, and they have some pretty interesting ideas how to improve it.

Vortech Superchargers’ 2015 Mustang shown here in this rendering is based on the GT model powered by a 5.0 liter V8 model onto which they have bolted a V3si supercharger, boosting the power from the standard 430 hp to an exciting 640 horsepower with 485 lb-ft (657 Nm) of torque. That ought to give the pony a serious turn of speed.

Visual mods on Vortech Mustang are somewhat limited and apart from the Competition Orange paint job includes only a 3D Carbon front lip spoiler and 20-inch Forgestar wheels.

But the car does get a big Baer brake system with orange calipers and a Magnaflow exhaust system with fancy tailpipes, as well as coilover suspension which lowers the ride height. All these bits are mainly mechanical upgrades, but they also contribute to the looks.

Vortech Mustang Supercharged is a one-off show car and they have no plans to put it on sale.
