Yep, it is yet another very unique Bimmer brought to you courtesy of BMW Abu Dhabi showroom. This one’s an i8 finished in a very unique color called Sophisto Grey which probably means it’s a sophisticated shade of grey designed exclusively for the sophisticated i8.
As pretentious as that may sound, there is not denying that BMW i8 is one of the cleverest cars of its generation. I mean, you have a sports car, which has a 1.5 liter three-cylinder, does 70 mpg all day, and yet it can hold its own against a Porsche 911. That’s sophistication in our book.
This Sophisto Grey BMW i8 features the usual blue accents standard on all i8s, garnishing the front grille, side panels, rear bumper and bits of the interior. If you don’t like that, you should check out Manhart’s take on the i8. They have painted these parts yellow!
