Ken Block realized that after years of hooning around on the internet, his Gymkhana has kind of lost its sparkle. So for the 7th edition of his famous webshow he came up with the Mustang Hoonicorn RTR, an 850 horsepower all-wheel-drive muscle car!

Yep, not more hatchbacks and family cars. This time Kenny from the Block is going all out, drifting one of the maddest cars ever created anywhere in the world. We’d watch Gymkhana 7 just to see this beast in action.

Block’s Mustang Hoonicorn is based on a 1965 Ford Mustang notchback, one of the most iconic cars in the world. In collaboration with Vaughn Gittin Jr’s automotive tuning brand, Block’s Hoonigan team has converted the ‘Stang into an unusual racing machine that is part dragster, part rally car, and full-time drifter.

The engine in the Mustang Hoonicorn is a 410 cubic inch Roush Yates V8 with 845 hp, mated to a one-off Sadev all-wheel drive system. And there are those looks…

“I’m stoked to be able to publicly unveil this car for the first time at SEMA in the Ford booth,” said Block. “This is a project that I’ve been working on for two years, so to see it fully come to fruition and be able to drive it for Gymkhana SEVEN was absolutely amazing. I also knew that working with Vaughn [Gittin Jr.] and his RTR team was the right choice for this project since Mustang’s are their world, but they really went above and beyond on this car. The attention to detail with the fabrication and bodywork blows my mind. This is hands-down the best Gymkhana car I’ve had yet.”
