A mysterious Pagani Huayra test mule rocking a unique camouflage has been spotted in Italy. The mule is clearly a hard top, which leads us to the conclusion that it is the long-awaited Huayra Nurburgring Edition, out on a test drive in preparation for launch next year.
The Nurburgring Edition Huayra is a performance-oriented version of the exquisite hyper car, slated for limited production. Pagani’s officials have already confirmed the existence of this project, but they haven’t set any date for its launch. If this Pagani Huayra test mule is indeed the Nurburgring model, it means they car is in the road test phase, which means it should be ready for release in a few months.
As for what you can expect from the Pagani Huayra Nurburgring Edition, it is not likely for it to have a stripped-out cabin or anything like that. But some of the heavy aluminum and titanium garnish inside and out could be replaced with carbon fiber, making the whole thing lighter. A few more horses will be squeezed out of the V12 AMG engine, but probably not more than 750, and the chassis and suspension will be revised for more precise handling. Al these could potentially turn the Huayra into a proper track monster.
