This handsome matte black Pagani Huayra is said to be the first Huayra in the world fitted with a custom aftermarket exhaust system. Well, it is certainly the best sounding example we have come across and it makes you wonder why don’t they fit this system to all Huayras. It sounds a lot nicer than the stock system.
Granted, it is not the full Zonda V12 Soprano, but with this custom exhaust you get more delicious engine noise and less dull turbo whistle. Check it out:
The turbo whistle-heavy soundtrack of the standard Pagani Huayra is, of course, by design. The engineers realized they are never gong to get the same awesome sound as the Zonda, so instead they beefed up the turbo noise. But this system proves there are more right notes to be extracted from that AMG V12. Maybe the next, hotter Huayra variant will address this issue.
