Ask anyone in the auto industry and they will tell you the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is way too powerful to be anything like enjoyable in normal road use. Well, we say anyone, but in fact there are those odd few who actually think this car is underpowered and could do with a few more horses.
This is the PP-Performance Ferrari F12 and it packs 800 (795 to be precise) horsepower. The German-turned-Emirati tuning shop says these are ‘perky horses’ which to be honest sounds kind of disturbing, but that means it has 40 horses more than the already bonkers standard F12.
To achieve that, PP-Performance Ferrari F12 is equipped with a number of high-performance parts on its V12 engine, such as BMC Race filter and FI (Frequency Intelligent) catless exhaust system. To get the best out of these parts, the tuner has also remapped the ECU with their own software.
Thanks to the extra oomph this Ferrari F12 can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds which is significantly quicker than the standard 3.1 seconds. As for that it feels like to drive… well, imagine riding a wild Arabian horse, injected with some drug that makes it go mental!
