Raminator is a familiar name not just to the monster truck enthusiasts but also to anyone who appreciates big, fast things! This monstrous truck is finally getting the glory it deserves in form of an official Guinness certificate as the world’s fastest of its kind.
The Ram Trucks-backed Raminator has achieved a top speed of 99.10 miles per hour at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, breaking the previous record of 96.8 mph. This is a cause for celebration not just for the Hall Brothers Racing Team who run the Raminator and Rammunition monster trucks, but also for the Ram brand who has been sponsoring them since 2002.
The Raminator’s main purpose is racing other monsters at various races and freestyle events. But being a Ram partner it has also been touring the country, making appearances at dealerships to offer ride-alongs and car-crushing spectacles. The truck’s performance at the multi-purpose 3.4 mile race track in Austin proved those efforts may have been a waste of its time and real talents!
“Taking on the challenge of breaking a world record has been an experience we will never forget,” said Hall Brothers Racing President and Crew Chief, Tim Hall. “With the support of Ram and Mopar, we continue to add to our achievements and are honored to now be a Guinness World Records holder.”
