So with a few days to go until the NFL Super Bowl XLIX, car makers are starting to release their often funny, and expensive, ads for the event. BMW is one of the first to show us what they’ve come up with. It’s made for the i3 electric car and it’s a good’un.
BMW i3 Super Bowl commercial is called “Newfangled Idea” and it touches on an important point. It compares the i3 to the internet. 20 years ago nobody had any idea how big this thing would get. BMW reckons the same will happen about the i3, and they’ve got broadcasters Katie and Bryant to back them up on that:
“When BMW offered me the chance to turn back the clock to 1994 and make fun of Bryant—and myself – I jumped at the opportunity,” said Katie Couric. “The tape doesn’t lie, we weren’t exactly visionaries back then, but thankfully in 2015 we are much more adept @ recognizing game-changing, environmentally friendly innovations like the BMW i3.”
