The beauty of the lovely ladies on the catwalk of Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week was overshadowed these year because the Germans had brought along two of their own hotties: Mercedes AMG GT and Mercedes G550.

We can kind of see the Mercedes AMG GT and its “sensuous design” as a fashion icon and worthy of a prominent place on the catwalk. But one would struggle to find much beauty in the sort agricultural looks of the G-Class. But beauty is something, style and swagger quite another.

You can deny beauty as something purely subjective and in complete dependence to the eyes of the beholder. But nobody can argue with style, especially imposing style, the kind Mercedes G-Class has in spade. We actually prefer the looks of the G550 to the more luxurious and more powerful G63.

As for the AMG GT, that ticks all the right boxes for a sexy design. It is low, wide, fierce looking, and, crucially, a coupe. The car looks like a crouching tiger, especially when dressed in Solarbeam yellow.
