Geneva Preview: Audi Prologue Avant Concept

Audi did say when they revealed the Prologue Coupe at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year that it is just the beginning and that this concept car is what most of their future products will be inspired by. So it comes as no surprise that they announced a new Prologue Concept for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

The Geneva-bound Audi Prologue Avant Concept is a shooting brake version of the previous car, even though its name suggests it should be a full-on estate model. The official sketches of the car show a sleek and seriously handsome shooting brake in the same as the gorgeous Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake.

In terms of technicalities, Audi Prologue Avant will measure roughly the same as the original concept, and gets the same sort of design features, such as prominent hexagonal grille, distinctive headlights with LED technology, OLED virtual instrument panel, 22-inch wheels, and probably the same 4.0-litre V8 engine with four-wheel-drive.

A production version of the Audi Prologue Avant Concept might could the S7 Shooting Back badge.
