An exotic car dealer in America is schooling all car dealers on how to make money on a rare, limited edition car. They have just listed a new Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 for sale with a staggering price tag of $975,000 USD.
That is a huge markup when you realize the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 has a starting factory price of around $550,000. Then again, the 6×6 is not the kind of car you find in your local Mercedes dealer. It has a strictly limited production run, and most of them are pre-sold. So if you need one bad enough, you have to be prepared to pay a hefty $400k premium.
This particular Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 is a black example with 50 miles on the clock, boasting a Cognac leather interior with all the usual 6×6 goodies you would expect, including air pump for the tires, auxiliary fuel tank, five differentials, and oh yea, six tires!
Power comes from a 550 horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. It takes the giant 6×6 from 0 to 60 mph in just over seven seconds.
