Turns out Jaguar Land Rover’s lineup for the 2015 New York Auto Show is way richer than we first though. Along with the Range Rover HST and the new Jaguar XF, the Brits will also reveal a new luxury Range Rover variant with high-end features.

All we have to go with for the time being is a picture of the car’s roof shown in the teaser next to the new XF. Well, it does tell us at least the new luxury Range Rover has a full-length panoramic roof, and from there you can let your imagination take hold and fill in the blanks.

Knowing Range Rover we reckon the new super deluxe variant would be made by the Special Operations unit, but instead of focusing on performance, they might have teamed up with another high-end brand to give the car nicer looks and a more plush interior. They have done this before with Overfinch and Holland & Holland.

As we have always maintained making Range Rovers faster is the wrong way of going about improving them. Adding luxury features on the other hands is what make complete sense. Stay tuned for more details on this potentially superb luxury Range Rover over the next few days.
