With only a few days remaining until this year’s New York Auto Show, Land Rover announced what they will be bringing to the show. It is a new version of their high-end luxury off-roader called Range Rover Sport HST and it’s a limited edition.
By the looks of things, 2016 Range Rover Sport HST Limited Edition is designed for those who don’t need all the power of the V8 version and would happily trade a few horsepower for better fuel economy. As such, the HST is powered by a 3.0L supercharged V6 engine developing 380 horsepower, which is 40 more than the base V6 model.
Besides the extra power, 2016 Range Rover Sport HST is distinguished by a number of unique exterior design and interior enhancements. The main highlights of the exterior include darkened front and rear lamps, a Santorini Black contrast roof and a new spoiler, while the interior gets Oxford Leather and al-Ebony door trims and center console as well as headlining.
Other little details separating the HST from normal models include 21-inch alloy wheels with a dark satin grey finish, gloss black hood and front fender vents, grille and fog lamp bezels, and a red Sport badge, plus Noble-plated paddle shift levers on the steering wheel and distinctive bright ‘Sports’ pedals inside the cabin.
