In an effort to boost the appeal of their new coupe SUV activity thingy, the GLE-Class, Mercedes-Benz announced the launch of the Night Package styling kit for it. Comprising a number of exclusive visual mods, Mercedes GLE Night Package can be ordered with all the engines available in the range.

You don’t really need this package is your GLE is a 63 AMG model, as that car comes with a pretty nice AMG body kit as standard. But normal GLW owners might want to consider it, as the package really does improve the car’s questionable looks to some extent.

The main features of Mercedes GLE Night Package include sport front grille with chrome arms, gloss black front and rear aprons, side mirror covers, window surrounds and side sills, and bright underbody protection pieces. Depending on the model, you also get either chrome or blacked-out tailpipes, plus 21 or 22-inch AMG wheels.

Pricing for the Mercedes GLE Night Package is yet to be announced, but as is often the case with optional extras on German cars, it is going to be steep.
