A low-mileage, super clean 2008 Aston Martin Vanquish S is now available for sale at Kahn Automobiles classic car showroom. What sets this car apart from similar models – in addition to the low mileage, superb color, and being a late-model ’S’ version – is the fact it is the last ever UK-registered Vanquish.
So this car is the last of only 375 right-hand-drive Aston Martin Vanquish S models in existence and that makes it a bit more special. As mentioned, the car has a very cool color combo as well, boasting an Onyx Black exterior and Obsidian Hide and Alloy Facia interior.
Aston Martin Vanquish S was criticized throughout its life for its terrible flappy paddle gearbox which was, in essence, a manual unit doctored to work with an automated clutch and paddle shifters. The transmission might be rubbish, but at least in this S model you get 520 horsepower to play with, and since the car has only 6,575 miles on the clock, there is plenty of live left in for the new owner.
Not that you would buy this car for its performance. Aston Martin Vanquish S is a Bond car, immortalized by Pierce Brosnan in Die Another Day. It is priced at £189,875 which is not bad given the car’s celebrity status. But if you want to buy this in the hope that it will someday become an appreciating classic, we’d ask the experts of the classic car world about it first.
