So after a few weeks of pouting and brooding, and a spot of light cycling around London, Jeremy Clarkson is back being his usual high-spirited self as he attended the Lido auction 2015 in Chipping Norton to raise money for his town’s swimming pool. While auctioning off “a load of sh*t” Jeremy subtly hinted that Top Gear could be back.
Talking in the familiar Clarksonian cryptic tongue, Jezza said Top Gear could return “somewhere else” or maybe not even somewhere else, raising suspicions that BBC might in fact give in and ask the presenter to return home. Later in the interview Jeremy Clarkson also revealed that although he is free now, come summer he is going to be very busy… which is of course another hint that he is working on something.
On a side note, the more hard-core Top Gear fans among you will recognize this swimming pool as the one Jeremy drove a Rolls-Royce into the first time he helped raising money to keep it open.
