As some of you may be aware, after the BBC sacked Jeremy Clarkson all the programs connected in some way or another with the TV show were cancelled. One of those programs was Top Gear Live, the latest edition of which has been in the works for months. Not willing to suffer another financial blow, the producers have managed to salvage that show by renaming it Clarkson, Hammond & May Live.

And they seem to be ready for action as the boys show up together in front of the camera – for the first time since the fracas – to announce the new live action show and its cool new name, which they don’t seem to be in full agreement about:

Clarkson, Hammond & May Live will most likely be exactly like Top Gear Live, which of course means unless you live near the venue they host the show in, you are never going to see it. So this doesn’t count as the boys being back really.

In any case, it is great to see Clarkson, Hammond & May back together doing what they do best. This could be the start of much greater things. In the meantime, you can keep track of what the boys are up to by following #BackOnTheRoad.
