Following a teaser and a preview, Kahn Design is now ready to show us some proper renderings of their next coachbuilding project, the Kahn Design Vengeance WB12. The Aston Martin DB9-based exotic will be produced in limited numbers in Coventry later in the year.
Even though one would expect more something that is labeled “coachbuilt,” Kahn Design Vengeance is a pretty decent effort to offer a highly bespoke grand tourer to those who find the standard DB9, or its counterparts from other manufacturers, a bit dull. If anything, Kahn is following Aston’s own footsteps. The new Lagonda Taraf the British company is boasting so much about is in fact a re-bodied Rapide S.
Kahn Design Vengeance comes with completely new bumpers and grilles, as well as custom fenders and sills, revised lights, and bespoke wheels. The mechanicals of the car will remain intact, meaning that it’s powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine developing 520 horsepower. It’d be nicer if Kahn had based the Vengeance on the more powerful Vanquish.
