Lamborghinis, though they certainly are quick, are not really about lap times and track performance. They are rockstars of the car world; cool to look at, great to listen to, hard to live with. But these days even the most show-offy Lambos have such great performance you can track if you want and give Porsche and Ferrari drivers a bloody nose. As a case in point here we have the new Lamborghini Aventador SV going round the Nürburgring in under 7 minutes.

Now, that number may not mean much to an ordinary reader, but the ‘Ring aficionados know that it’s kind of a big deal and it makes people view the Lamborghini Aventador SV in a whole new light.
