In one of their more elaborate publicity efforts, Volkswagen enlisted the services of their Rallycross driver and drifting superstar Tanner Foust to give pro cyclist Tim Johnson a ride in his new 900 horsepower Passat. The venue for this stunt was the course of USA Cycling Time Trials in Chattanooga near VW’s headquarters.

This thing also serves as a teaser for the awesome 900-hp Passat drift car which Tanner Foust will be driving throughout the Formula Drift season:
