The wait is almost over and soon we will get to see the awesome Aston Martin Vulcan in action at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Judging by how the beast sounds, and takes off, in this teaser video which is also the first recorded launch of the car, that is not something you want to miss.

So check out this little taster for the Aston Martin Vulcan and get to ready to witness it ripping the Goodwood hill apart… mostly by the sound of its V12 engine!

Aston Martin Vulcan is the British firm’s first dedicated, track-only hyper car – their answer to the likes of Ferrari FXX K and McLaren P1 GTR. The car boasts an 800+ horsepower version of the V12 engine Aston used in the One-77 and features carbon fibre monocoque and body panels. Drive is channelled to the 345/30 x19 rear wheels and Michelin race specification tyres through a race-bred rear mid-mounted Xtrac six-speed sequential shift gearbox. The Vulcan also benefits from pushrod suspension with anti-dive geometry, Multimatic’s Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve (DSSV) adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars front and rear, driver-adjustable anti-lock braking, and variable traction control.
