It is Kahn Design’s style to try every single variation once they’ve started working on a car. So when they first came up with the Kahn Defender pickup, we knew there would be a single cab version, a double cab version, an elongated Flying Huntsman edition, and now a Chelsea Wide Track version.

Mind you, they only do that to the cars that receive a warm welcome from the fans and the press upon introduction. And Kahn Defender Pickup was particularly successful in that area. So it only made sense to make more versions of it and attract more customers.

The latest version, whose full name is Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI XS 110 Double Cab Pick Up Chelsea Wide Track, comes in Corris Grey and its signature dish is the four extended fenders installed with exposed bolt apertures. The rest is familiar, and includes modified front and rear fascia, X-Lander front grille, new hood and a new set of 9” x 20” Volcanic Black Mondial wheels with 275/55/20” tires.

As for the interior, the wide track Kahn Defender Pickup boasts Sports GTB seats trimmed in Black Leather and Alcantara, billet steering wheel and vented foot pedals in machined aluminium, and a new Churchill time clock integrated into the dashboard.

The cost of all this, interior and exterior mods included, is £34,875.
