So after upgrading the normal versions of Jaguar F-Type Roadster and Coupe, Piecha Design now turn their attention to the R model, trying to give it a bit more joie de vivre. Since the car has enough grunt as it is, this program is all about the cosmetics and enhancing the looks of the big Jag.
Piecha Design Jaguar F-Type R Coupe comes with a tailored body kit which, as befits a 550 horsepower super GT, feature prominent aero parts such as massive front splitter and a ginormous rear wing. There is also new 90mm tailpipes which look pretty cool sticking out of that rear diffuser.
The wheels are equally big and play a major role in giving the Piecha Design Jaguar F-Type R Coup its super aggressive appearance. To give you some specs, the PIECHA MP-Y wheels measure 21-inch in diameter but they are 9-inch wide on the front axle with 255/30R21 tires, and 10.5-inch wide on the back shod with 295/25R21 Yokohama ADVAN Sport rubber.
Mechanically, the R Coupe is powered by a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 unit developing 550 PS and 680 Nm of torque. It’s a good job then that Piecha has fitted the car with coilover suspension that lower the ride height by up to 30mm.
