Akpraovic is the proud manufacturer of some of the world’s most technologically-advanced sport exhaust systems. They enhance the engine’s breathing and help it make more power. They also make something else, an inordinate amount of noise, as demonstrated by this lovely Akrapovic Mercedes SLS.

It’s an unashamedly loud noise what Akrapovic Mercedes SLS makes, but it’s also a beautiful noise. We particularly like the bangs and crackles it makes on the overrun when you lift off the throttle and it backfires. It’s just hilarious:

Besides the famous Monaco tunnel, we get to travel with Akrapovic Mercedes SLS to some the city’s network of underground expressways where one-lane roads allow for some proper acceleration runs the main byproduct of which is eargasmic exhaust noise.

So yes, Akrapovic has realized nobody really cares about the exquisiteness of their systems technology-wise as long as they are loud.
