Seeing an Aston Martin V12 Zagato out in the wild is a pretty special occasion in itself. After all, this is a limited edition, coach0built version of an exotic car, of which only 101 units were produced, each starting at £330,000. Seeing the car in one of the four bespoke colors developed specifically for it is something extraordinary.

But that’s exactly what’s happened the other day to BrianZuk who chanced upon an Aston Martin V12 Zagato in Alba Blue. The other three unique colors for this car include Scintilla Silver, Alloro Green, and Diavolo Red.

Underneath that glorious exterior penned by one of the greatest design firms in the history of mankind, Aston Martin V12 Zagato is a normal V12 Vantage – if you can call that car normal. The engine is a 6.0 liter V12 which can trace its roots to a 2002 Ford Mondeo V6 (it was conceived as two Mondeo V6 blocks welded together when Aston was owned by Ford). It is rated at 510 horsepower in this car which is enough for a taking the car from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph. So really, you pay only for the looks and rarity, because you can get the same power in a normal Vantage for about 200 grand less.
