Celebrating the 21th anniversary of the launch of the Audi A8, the UK branch of the German automaker announced the launch of a limited edition model. Called Audi A8 Edition 21, this model will be available in standard and Long Wheelbase but is limited to just 121 units.
Set to hit the roads in November, Audi A8 Edition 21 is quite possibly the most finely specced version of the car that’s ever been produced, boasting sport S8 front and rear bumpers, 20-inch double spoke alloy wheels with a titanium-look finish, Daytona grey pearl paint, Adaptive Audi Matrix LED headlights, and…
Inside the cabin you have the choice of cognac brown with black contrasting stitching or black leather with red contrasting stitching plus 22-way adjustability and integrated pneumatic lumbar and side bolster support, black cloth headlining and three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. Needless to say, you also get a number of ‘Edition 21’ badges.
Engine-wise, Audi A8 Edition 21 is a bit less glamorous than one would expect reading about its options. The car is powered by the base 3.0-litre V6 TDI engine which produces 262PS and 580Nm, connected to an 8-speed tiptronic transmission linked to quattro permanent all-wheel drive. It’s a great engine for the UK market, offering a good compromise between performance and fuel efficiency. Prices for the Edition 21 start at £72,525.
