Mercedes AMG continue with their “Something Fast” teasing campaign, releasing a new video that eliminates any doubt as to the nature of this mysterious new model. Some say this thing is actually the hard-core AMG GT we’ve been waiting for. But this footage proves that that is not the case. It is almost certainly the new AMG C63 Coupe.

For confirmation all you need to do is look at the interior features of the car showcased rather brilliantly in this video. It has an almost flat center console with one of those rotary control dial thingies used in all Mercedes saloon models. The AMG GT, as you know, has a cool, fighter het-style console with lots of buttons on it. What’s more, the picture in the car’s own screen, though it’s been jumbled a little, clearly shows a coupe.

The new Mercedes AMG C63 Coupe, or Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe as we used to call it, is going to be a special little thing. We are basing that on how much we like its four-door sibling with its curvaceous body, angry growl, and potent bi-turbo V8 engine. The Coupe will of course be sportier in nature and hopefully get more horsepower as well. Can’t wait to see what the next Black Series version will look like.
