Since the day Kia revealed the design of the new Sportage in a number of official renderings, the car has been leaking out left and right, revealing itself like a cheap hussy! These are the latest leaked photos of the 2016 Kia Sportage and they offer the best look at the new Korean crossover yet.

So as seen in the renderings, 2016 Kia Sportage has undergone major plastic surgery, gaining not just a slimmer, more athletic body, but also a new face. It still has the iconic profile of the Sportage, but if you look at it from behind there is no way to recognize this car as a Kia. If it wasn’t for the Kia badge, it could be easily be mistaken for a Hyundai Tucson.

It’s a different story at the front. The car does get completely new headlights and heavily revised bumpers, but there is no mistaking that tiger nose grille. You still get those massively flared wheel arches that are extremely susceptible to dings and scratches, which isn’t ideal since this car is an urban SUV. But on the whole, the new Sportage has a pretty interesting look.

Chances are the new Kia Sportage will feature the same engine lineup as the current generation, but we best not speculate. The official debut of the car at IAA is only a couple of weeks away.
