DÄHLER Design and Technic is a Swiss tuner with an unpronounceable name who wants to make a name for itself by upgrading a BMW M235i. They are so confident of what they have achieved here, they call it the forerunner to the BMW M2. That’s a big claim.
On paper though, they seem to have nailed it alright. DÄHLER BMW M235i Cabrio is a special little thing, boasting enormous power and a sophisticated chassis. Maybe M GmbH has a thing or two to learn from this project!
Right off the bat, they have equipped this M235i with a stainless steel sport exhaust system and other engine upgrades and boosted its output to 390 horsepower. That is pretty much what you will be getting from the upcoming BMW M2. Then to make sure the chassis can deal with the extra oomph, the tuner fitted their own coilover suspension on the car with 18-way adjustability of compression and rebound.
This particular BMW M235i is equipped with the xDrive all-wheel-drive system which is why it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 288 km/h. An MID display and leather and Alcantara interior are among the other highlights of this machine.
