Bugatti Chiron Spied Wearing Heavy Camo

Looks like Volkswagen board of directors have signed off on the design of the new Bugatti Chiron super-hyper-ultra car. Up until now Chiron’s prototypes used to wear an awkward version of the Veyron’s body. But now for the first time the car was spotted in what is most likely its very own skin.

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, we are talking about the Bugatti Chiron, the replacement for the Bugatti Veyron. This blurry spy photo shows the car as it’s getting camo’d up, ready to go out for a road test. The picture is not very revealing, but even so, you can clearly see the shape of Chiron’s new front bumper and headlights, and even in this low quality photo they look pretty special and utterly classy.

There is no definite date on when Bugatti Chiron will be released. The engineers have a humongous task ahead of them creating a worthy successor for a holder of many world records. It is almost certain that the Chiron will feature a hybrid powertrain in line with what we saw in the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918. Sources suggest 1,500 as the horsepower figure for this model, and a top speed of around 460 km/h. Just reading about those numbers makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!
