Mansory Diamond based on the Mercedes S-Class Coupe was one of German tuner’s 2015 Geneva Motor Show offerings we found pretty amazing in terms of looks and mechanical features. Thing is though, back then it didn’t have the ridiculous wing it is sporting now.
This is the same Mansory Diamond S-Coupe spotted a few months back in Switzerland on Saudi Arabian plates. The owner, most likely a member of the Royal family, apparently thought this matte blue beast is not ‘out there’ and attention grabbing enough. So he had it fitted with a giant and extremely unsightly rear wing. I wonder if this man has any friends. If he had, one of them would have told him his new wing looks ugly as hell:
Mansory Diamond S-Class Coupe is indeed a gem in terms of performance. The tuner has fiddled with the AMG V8 engine in the S63 AMG and boosted its performance from 580 horsepower all the way up to 1,000 horsepower with 1,400 Nm of torque (limited). As such, the Diamond can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a limited top speed of 300 km/h.
