The 2015 Audi R8 LMX is one of the most desirable variants of the pre-facelift R8. Limited to just 99 units, the super car is an homage to the R8’s glorious racing career. So it was only fitting to let it meet the new Audi R8 LMS race car which is set to continue that legacy.

Finished in an exclusive Ara Blue and sporting a carbon fiber aero kit consisting of front spoiler lip, the flics on the sides, the engine compartment cover, the exterior mirror housings, the sideblades, the rear wing and the diffuser, all made of carbon fiber, this Audi R8 LMX is on display next to an R8 LMS fresh from the race track at Audi Forum Neckarsulm.

The car also comes with a unique interior featuring Fine Nappa leather with Sepang Blue diamond pattern and Ara Blue back rest as well as Sepang Blue stitching. What’s more, matte carbon is used on the covers of the center tunnel console and the parking brake lever, on the inlays in the doors and the arc around the cockpit.

In terms of performance, the €210,000 super car is powered by the engine from the V10 plus model with 419 kW (570 hp) and 540 Nm (398.3 lb?ft) of torque, delivering a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed is 320 km/h (198.8 mph).
