Yesterday we showed you some amazing footage of a yellow Lamborghini Aventador SV in the Swiss Alps. It was a good thing the car was in the Alps, because as it turns out the SV is allergic to heat. If you take it some place where the temperature is high – like Dubai – it develops a serious case of catching fire!

That is exactly what happened to this Lamborghini Aventador SV you see here. The owner should have known that high-end Italian sports car are fragile, delicate things. Dubai in September is like a giant steam room. The conditions are not at all ideal for driving around in a 740 horsepower V12 thoroughbred.

The real tragedy here is that the Aventador SV is limited to 500 units, and one of them is now dead and gone.
