That latest project car by the interior specialists at Carlex Design is a custom Subaru Impreza STI, one of the old versions. What they have come up with for this car is so special on so many different levels, it makes you think if that Subaru really is worth all that effort and money.

For this Subaru Impreza STI Carlex Design decided to do the opposite of what had already been done to the exterior, and went for a classy, Alcantara-heavy interior design to balance things out with the flashy yellow wrap on the outside.

This kind of treatment is what Carlex does best. They can take a cabin as soulless as that of the Impreza and make it look like a Ferrari by covering every visible surface in leather, Alcantara, contrast stitching, and in this case interesting design patterns on trim pieces. You will find those patterns on the doors and dashboard, complementing the suede dashboard and steering wheel, and the two-tone leather and suede seats garnished with red accents.
