Lamborghini Washington recently held a debut party for the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder which has arrived at the showroom fresh from its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The droptop beauty in sky blue won’t hit the market until the Spring of 2016.
Until then, we are only going to see the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder in motors shows and public viewing events like this. If Lambo were to release this car too soon, then nobody would buy the hardtop version because not only is the Spyder more fun to drive, what with the rag top and all, it is also much better looking. That has always been the case open-top Lamborghinis. They always looked better than their hardtop counterparts.
Those who are willing to pay the 186,450 Euros (~ 212,000 USD) asking price for the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder will have the opportunity to customize the car with a range of colors and option. Besides the unique exterior colors, Lambo offers three different colors for the top including black, brown and red, and up to 17 interior colors. Then there is the Ad Personam individualization program in which sky’s the limit. In terms of powertrain though, you are restricted to a 610 horsepower V10 and a seven-speed dual-clutcher.
