Barely a week has passed since BMW introduced the new M2, but already we have seen this car modified, virtually, in a million ways. It is not just rendering artists trying to show us what can be done with the M2. The tuners too are using this medium to preview their upcoming kits. The latest we are going to show is Manhart BMW M2.
Dubbed “MH2 450,” Manhart BMW M2 is the successor to the tuner’s BMW M235i MH2 and as the name suggests it is going to pack a full 450 horsepower. Manhart is proposing an ECU upgrade plus downpipe and sport exhaust system. These mods should be enough to increase the standard 370 horsepower to 450. Meatier kits with more power involving bigger turbos are reserved for future treatments.
As the preview picture here clearly shows, Manhart BMW M2 will also get a carbon fiber body kit complete with front spoiler, revised bumpers, side skirt, diffuser, and a sport vented hood. The kit itself is rather subtle, but the two-tone paint work and the Manhart wheels give the car the look of a full-on racer. Those of you with trained eyes in the art of tuning might have noticed the car is also rocking lowered suspension.
