The third company-commissioned tricked-out Hyundai you will see at this year’s SEMA show, besides this Tucson and this Genesis Coupe, is the unique Blood Type Racing Veloster Turbo. The car features a very cool wide body kit, a race-spec interior, and a 500 horsepower engine.

The engine in Blood Type Racing Veloster Turbo is the same 1.6-liter “Gamma” four-cylinder you find in the production model. What BTR does is bolt a high-boost Garrett turbocharger on it, and fit it with new connecting rods and pistons, and a retuned ECU. And that’s how you get 500 horsepower from a 1.6.

The wide body kit meanwhile features front-mounted aero canards, front splitter and a rear deck spoiler plus the widened fenders, all wrapped up in a Carbon Black paint job with red accents and stripes. Other little touches include “Demon Eye” headlights and a set of  custom SSR three-piece wheels.

The cabin is accordingly stripped-out and fitted with a four-point roll cage, Sabelt bucket seats, harnesses and steering wheel, along with audio upgrades from Rockford Fosgate and Tanabe OLED Revel gauges.
