Jaguar Land Rover has managed to enlist the services of actress Naomie Harris to make the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible look even sexier by posing next to it in a variety of hot dresses. You know her from the latest James Bond movie, SPECTRE, and a bunch of other films we can’t remember.

This has happened thanks to the good relations between JLR and the makers of SPECTRE. They provided the producers with an army of cars to destroy, including many Range Rovers and Land Rover Discoveries and Defenders, as well as a priceless concept which they made roadworthy. The least they could do was lend them the Bond actress for this photoshoot by  acclaimed fashion photographer Ben Watts.

Thing is, Range Rover Evoque Convertible does not really need shenanigans like this. Design is the car’s strongest suit. You don’t need a hot babe to sell those looks. Instead they should focus their energy on convincing people the first open-top luxury SUV ever is actually a decent bit of kit when it comes to stuff like, I don’t know, driving. They need to show customer the chassis doesn’t flex, or that the wind buffeting isn’t that bad.

Harris, who in her role as Moneypenny has been paired with Land Rover vehicles including the iconic Defender (Skyfall) and more recently the Discovery Sport (SPECTRE) said: “I was so impressed by the design of this car; it’s like nothing I’ve seen on the road before and is so sleek! I love the fact that it is just as much at home driving down the Pacific Coast Highway in LA, as it is off-road in the British Countryside”.
