Having witnessed the enormous success of AMG’s partnership with Cigarette Racing, Bugatti decided they too want a piece of yachting action. So they teamed up with American company Palmer Johnson who has created a high-end luxury Bugatti yacht called the Niniette.

Available in three sizes of 13, 20, and 27 meters and starting from 2 million Euros, the Bugatti yacht features in its design cues from famous Bugatti cars of the yesteryear, namely the Type 57 C Atalante and the Type 41 Royale. The former has influenced the sea craft’s falling shoulder line and the latter its perfectly balanced proportions to help with transport. The two-tone color scheme, emphasized by the ultra-lightweight titanium and dark blue exposed carbon fiber, is another highlight of Bugatti cars featured on the yacht.

The Niniette series are open carbon-fibre sport yachts available in three models from 42ft to 88ft. Being inspired by the world’s fastest car, the Bugatti yacht itself is pretty quick with a top speed of 38 knots (about 70 km/h). Production of these yachts take about 12 months, but as with the cars the customer gets to customize and tailor every detail of the looks and the interior.

“This very special project brings together two brands with more than 100 years of experience in high-end hand crafting in their respective fields,” explains Dr. Stefan Brungs, Member of the Board of Management of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. responsible for Sales and Marketing: “Bugatti and Palmer Johnson share outstanding lightweight design expertise. Inspired by Bugatti’s design DNA, Palmer Johnson has created not only an incredibly elegant and beautiful yacht but also a masterpiece of craftsmanship featuring carbon fiber, titanium and precious wood. This collector’s item will thrill maritime aficionados.”
