Audi released the official pricing and specs of the new 2017 Audi R8 for the America market. The V10-powered super car, with its new looks and advanced tech features, kicks off at $162,900 for the V10 and $189,900 for the V10 Plus model.
Both version of the 2017 Audi R8 are powered by the same 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine mate to a seven-speed S tronic transmission with quattro all-wheel-drive. They differ in the way they’re tuned. In the normal model the engine produces 540 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque, whereas in the Plus version it pumps out 610 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque.
Performance-wise, the standard version of the 2017 Audi R8 V10 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has top track speed of 199 mph, while the V10 Plus sprints to 60 in just 3.2 seconds and can reach 205 mph.
Among the most notable highlights of the new R8 we can mention the adaptive rear spoiler (V10) or carbon fiber fixed rear wing spoiler (V10 plus), full LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, 18-way power seats, sport steering wheel, Bang & Olufsen Sound System and Audi virtual cockpit which replaces the classic instrument panel with a 12.3 inch display.
