If you find the new AMG GT a bit too soft and, well, girly for your taste, we have good news because a virtually brand-new Mercedes SLS GT Final Edition has just hit the market. That’s the good part. The disappointing part is that it costs a whopping 435,000 EUR!
Well, what do you know. Turns out the SLS is on its way to attain the coveted title of a future classic. It is, after all, the last AMG super car to get the absolutely magnificent 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, and the last of properly mad Mercedes to come out of Affalterbach. So although it costs an arm and a leg now, you probably won’t lose money on it when you sell it on.
This 2014 Mercedes SLS GT Final Edition is a Coupe version with only 2,050 km on the clock, featuring the full Final Edition body kit including front and rear spoiler, carbon bonnet and mirrors, 20-inch Black Series wheels and AMG orange brake calipers, plus a unique interior with Alcantara steering wheel and diamond stitching for the leather, loaded with every single option available.
Engine-wise, the Mercedes SLS GT Final Edition is powered by a 590 horsepower version of the 6.2 engine which delivers a zero to 100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of 320 km/h. This car is available at Hoefnagels showroom in the Netherlands.
