Mercedes-Benz has already given us a good preview of the new 2016 Mercedes E-Class, set for debut at the upcoming NAIAS Detroit Motor Show. Now though, at the beginning of the new year, they have released not just an official sketch of the car, but also a video to go with it.
Now, if you are thinking about the 2016 Mercedes E-Class as a mere facelift of the existing version of the executive saloon, think again because the features a whole new look that is much sleeker and sexier than the fairly dull W212 series. The whole thing is a lot more curvy and swoopy than what we are used to with the E-Class, which is a very good thing. It makes you think what Mercedes has in store for the next CLS.
As you would expect, the 2016 Mercedes E-Class also comes with a whole host of new technology features, chief among which the MULTIBEAM LED headlamps with 84 individually-controlled high performance LEDs. An S-Class like interior with a massive screen is another highlight of the new car, as seen in this interior preview.
