It is not just American muscles cars German tuner GeigerCars is fond of working with. They are also a fan of that most American of all vehicles, the pickup truck. And the latest truck they are offering now is a super cool Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel.
The 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel offered in Europe by Geiger is in many ways better than the American variant. For one thing, they only import models with the flex-fuel 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine and even offer an LPG conversion. It offers 401 horsepower and 548 Nm of torque, delivered to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Geiger’s Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel is also fully off-road ready, boasting body extension parts, 20-inch off-road wheels with chunky tires instead of the standard 17-inch rims, 36mm wheel spacers, massive truck bed rollbar and wide LED roof lights. The standard air suspension system with a 1.0-inch factory suspension lift and exclusive link coil rear suspension and optional 4-corner air bags remain unchanged as it’s deemed good enough.
Just about the only problem with this Rebel, aside from the image problem (just imagine turning up at a sidewalk cafe in Paris with this) is the price tag. Geiger asks a whopping 56,900 Euro for the base version.
