German Special Customs BMW i8 Is Finally Ready!

German Special Customs BMW i8 0 600x400 at German Special Customs BMW i8 Is Finally Ready!

It seems like a long time ago when we were shown the first images of German Special Customs BMW i8. Back then the tuner was working on the interior of the car. But now, many months later, the car appears to be ready inside and out. And it’s looking good.

There aren’t that many body kits available yet for the i8, and that is why what we have here is rather significant. German Special Customs BMW i8 improves on the original design of the car by getting rid of some of its annoying features such as most of the blue accenting, and adding a few key parts that give the car a seriously sporty appearance — so much so, that you’d think it was a full on super car and not a three-cylinder hybrid!

The key ingredients of German Special Customs BMW i8 styling package including a pair of custom bumpers with new intakes and a large lip up front, side skirt, and revised rear apron. The car also features, on this particular model, a set of candy blue wheels which may not be to everyone’s taste. The kit is made entirely form carbon fiber which is why the front bumper weighs only 3 kg. As for the interior, the tuner has used a healthy dose of blue Alcantara and carbon fiber to spice up the i8’s cabin.
