Designer Rain Prisk is kind of the Quentin Tarantino of the car world in the sense that he can dream up stuff so wonderfully wild, you wish you has ideas like this. That latest creation of this designer is a Mercedes S-Class Estate equipped with a Liberty Walk-esque wide body kit.
So yes, this thing is way too fanciful on way too many levels to be taken seriously. But it’s a rendering, and the whole point of it is being entertaining which it certainly is. And if we’re honest, a part of does want a station wagon luxury sedan with a wide body kit and low ground clearance.
Prisk’s Mercedes S-Class Estate is based on the S63 model complete with the AMG bumpers and grilles. But its connections with reality ends there as the designer has given it extra wide fenders, low-slung aero parts, an air suspension system and massive new wheels. Not to mention there is a big box at the back. Turning an S-Class into a wagon is a bit like turning a McLaren P1 into a SUV.
You best look at this picture stoned. It might make some sense to you then.
