One of the rarest, and in our opinion coolest, variants of the Gelandewagen is the Mercedes G63 AMG 35th Edition. Originally designed as a limited edition of just 200 copies for the Japanese market, eight of these cars made their way to the UAE and here’s one of them up close and personal.

This Mercedes G63 AMG 35th Edition popped by Select-Nano detailing company in Dubai recently for a hand polish in order to make its awesome Matte Military Olive Green paint work look its best. It’s a delicate job polishing a matte paint job, but S-Nano guys have done a great job and the car looks just amazing.

The unique color Mercedes G63 AMG 35th Edition is sporting is part of the special treatment designed by AMG Studio for this edition of the G-Wagen. The car did also come in black and white. But this example is a little bit cooler thanks to blacked-out bumpers and grilles as well as AMG wheels. It also benefits from a two-tone interior with piano black trims.

Powering the G63 35th Anniversary is a 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 engine with over 540 horsepower that enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h (electronically limited).
