A fresh rendering of the upcoming Aston Martin DB11 Volante has been released, this time by one of our favorite rendering artists Theophilus Chin. This is one of those jobs that didn’t take much imagination, but the execution is pretty much perfect.
It doesn’t take much imagination because we all know what Aston Martin DB11 Volante will look like. If the DB9 Volante is any indication, the new car will be a DB11 with the roof chopped off and a canvas soft top installed in its place. That said, Aston might be tempted to change a few things here and there in the open-top version, just to keep things fresh.
One thing we would hope they will change in the Aston Martin DB11 Volante – compared to the DB9 Volante, not the DB11 Coupe – is how they tune the chassis. The previous model was always a bit too flexy, like its bolts weren’t done up properly. That is of course a common issue with coupes that are turned into convertibles. But the DB11 being an all-new product, they will hopefully address that issue.
But even if they don’t, we’re still going to fancy the DB11 Volante because, well, look at it. It looks gorgeous and it’s a convertible Aston Martin, which is the coolest car, nay, thing in the world.
