Inspired by the M3 CSLs of the yesteryear, and borrowing cues from BMW’s own attempt at reviving that design with the Hommage Concept, Yasid Design has come up with a spectacular rendering of a BMW M2 CSL. This could, and should, happen.
In fact, it probably will happen because, for one thing, BMW wouldn’t have gone to all the trouble of making a CSL Hommage concept and parade it around every chance they get if they weren’t expecting to get something out of it. So yes, a BMW M2 CSL might be on the cards in the near future. It will have a very limited production and will be very expensive, but hey.
Yasid has decided to keep this BMW M2 CSL in the blue paint job of the standard car, but has promised to release one in the traditional M racing colors later. That matters, because most CSL buyers would like to have theirs in the M colors. Heck, even the standard M2 now comes in the M colors. It looks kind of dorky to be honest, but M fans love it.
