Just as BBC was gearing up to declare the first teaser they have released for the new Top Gear a success – even though it’s getting more than its fair share of dislikes on YouTube – Jeremy Clarkson tweeted a photo of himself with a bloody nose. And that is enough to make everybody forget about TG and its unoriginal stunts and wait with bated breath for the Clarki’s new Amazon show.
Of course, Clarkson, Hammond and May are not actively trying to get in the way of Chris Evans and his new Top Gear crew, mainly because they don’t need to. But if we know Clarkson, he may have chosen yesterday to release this gross yet intriguing photo to let us how much awesomeness awaits us in his new program. Whereas the new Top Gear gives us Evans puking and Matt LeBlanc sneezing, Jeremy and friends are actually bleeding to make their show more entertaining for the fans. That is why people like these guys. The BBC can bring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to the new TG, but they are still going to lose.
So yea, keep pounding that dislike button on YouTube while you wait for the ‘originals’ to come back.
Tomorrow morning, I’m doing the most dangerous stunt I’ve ever attempted. This may well be a goodbye.

My first time in A man. It hurt, but I liked it.

Small typo last night. When I said I’d been in “a man”, I meant Amman. Apologies.
