This is one of the first walkaround videos of the 2017 McLaren 570GT we get to see, and it includes not only detailed shots of the exterior, but also start up and samples of the exhaust noise, and it shows the car on the move. So this is about as thorough a look as you can get at the practical new baby Mac.
That said, there isn’t much new stuff to see here since McLaren 570GT is identical to the 570S except for a side-opening rear hatch that gives access to a fairly deep boot. That is the only difference between the two car, but that’s enough to put the GT in a whole different category than the S.

McLaren 570GT weighs in at just 1,350kg (2,976lb) which, given that 570 horsepower engine, means it boasts a power to weight 422PS per tonne. That in plain English means this: 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds, 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 9.8 seconds, and a top speed of 328 km/h (204 mph). Available from late 2016, the 570GT has a starting price (in the UK) of £154,000.
